Due to a shortage of bus drivers, Bus 185 will not be running AFTERNOON routes today (9/28) or tomorrow (9/29). It will be picking students up in the mornings. Please make other arrangements for students to get home!
Wrangler Families: The deadline of Friday, October 1st to purchase the SDPP Chromebook Insurance is fast approaching! After this date the cost of all Chromebook repairs and part replacements are locked in for those students that have not taken advantage of the SDPP!

Yesterday, we held the first meeting of our newly formed Principal’s Cabinet! We had some very distinguished guests from our District Administration join us for our inaugural meeting! This Cabinet is formed of GJHS students who will give a voice for their peers in regards to any questions, comments, and/or concerns about ongoing issues and hot topics within our building. They will work together with our Building Admin and come up with reasonable resolutions to make everyone’s experience at a GJHS positive one! #DestinationGeorge #THEChoice
We desperately need your help! Even though all students are being allowed to eat for free again this year, we still need families to complete the free and reduced meal form.
Here’s why: Our district must have at least 70% of our students qualify for free and reduced meals by October 1, 2021, or we will lose up to $8 million dollars in funding next year. This $8 million dollars are the funds used to provide nurses, social workers, and school resource officers for each school.
Right now, we are only at 66%. Will you please help us by completing the application today?

Just a Reminder: Student Led Conferences (SLC) will begin tomorrow, Tuesday, September 21st from 4:15 to 7:15 and will continue on Wednesday, September 22nd at the same times. Please make sure that you have scheduled your SLC with your student's Advisory teacher. Also, please try to arrive a few minutes early prior to your scheduled time if you are in person and/or virtually.
