As the 2025–26 school year winds down, the Wrangler Track season ends on a high note. Yesterday, we competed against some of the best athletes from 6A schools across the state at the State Championship — and our athletes represented with heart, determination, and class.
Delilah B. finished 11th overall in the 400m dash with an impressive 1:01 finish. Delilah also dug deep in the 4x400 and pushed us past NLR to finish 13th overall.
TJ M. placed 16th overall and was the ONLY freshman in that race!
And, our girls were victorious over Heritage! 👏🏽
Beyond the times and placements, our athletes were respectful, supportive, and carried themselves the right way all season long.

One of our favorite days of Teacher Appreciation Week is always the day we get to celebrate the cultures that make our school community so special.
Today, our staff enjoyed delicious dishes representing the cultures of our students, and we were treated to a wonderful performance from our Pasifika Club. A huge thank you to our Pasifika Club and to our very own Marshallese Liaison, Rojien Debrum, for sponsoring and helping make this meaningful celebration possible.

Our 8th grade agriculture students took learning beyond the classroom last week with a visit to the J.B. and Johnelle Hunt Family Ozark Highlands Nature Center!
Students explored Arkansas native mammals, discovered the importance of habitats and conservation, and engaged with hands-on, interactive exhibits. They even had the chance to practice basic archery skills and enjoy a walk along the nature trails.
Real-world experiences like these help bring learning to life and spark a deeper appreciation for the environment! 🌎

These Wranglers attended the Girls of Promise conference at the Arkansas 4H Center in Little Rock on April 10. They were introduced to educational and career opportunities in STEAM fields. The goal is to increase the number of girls in higher-level STEAM courses and careers to put them on the path to achieving economic security as women. Open to 8th-grade girls who are interested in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Math in Arkansas, students learned about various STEAM careers, enhanced their skills, and met women mentors excelling in their fields. Those selected to attend were: Adriana Diaz , Karina Gaisina, Lovette George, Melanie Orellana, and Janely Villafuerte. Selections were based on academic performance, teacher recommendations, and student applications.
