September 28, 2022 | School Redesign Project Springdale High
With the focus on social emotional support of students, the Human Relations class identified with the positives and negatives of what SHS offered in this area for student self actualization.
The students took what they learned about Maslow's levels of need and identified what was lacking in Springdale High School.
From that, they designed an alternative floor plan that would support the needs they identified. The students invited a group of adults to come see their floor plans and explain to them why they added the items they have and placed them where they have.
The students had to take into consideration class sizes, total number of students, required time to attend school, movement of students, and safety of staff and students. #SpringdaleFamily
