GJHS will resume our ACT Aspire Testing tomorrow and Tuesday. Testing will begin at 9am each day. Make sure to get lots of sleep the night before & have a great breakfast! Oh...and of course, be sure to be at school if at all possible on these testing dates! Lastly, make sure that your Chromebook is charged completely and ready to test!

Several of our Class of 2026 and 2027 student-athletes traveled to Knapp Elementary School this morning to read to their students and also have some of their students read to them. School Board members and district administrators learned how George Junior High School educators are teaching and inspiring students through art education today. Participants created landscape paintings with the support of Andy Downum’s ninth-grade Art I class. #SpringdaleFamily

Hello Wranglers We are gearing up for our annual EAST Conference in March. We have worked with Skyline to come up with some shirts for our EAST Program. In order to have the shirts made at a decent price, we would need to order 50 items. Skyline has set up an online store so that you may order from them directly and they will send the shirts to GEORGE JUNIOR HIGH at the end of February. We are not making any money for our program with these shirts. It was easier to set it up with Skyline so no money or confusion ever passes through the EAST Program's hands. Shirts are decently priced - with everything nearly under $25. I hope you will consider buying a shirt (OR ALL 4) and support our program by wearing a shirt. PLUS WHO DOESN'T NEED A REASONABLY PRICED HOODIE OR SWEATSHIRT??? If you work in Springdale School District, I can send your shirt through campus mail. If you want to support our program, you can purchase a shirt to donate to our program so our students can wear it during our EAST events.
