Har-Ber High School hosted its first annual Pre-Vet Camp for 20 junior high students with 9 current Har-Ber students teaching various veterinary related skills to the participants. A special thank you to Dr. Niki Lunsford and Dr. Michael Lunsford at Lunsford Veterinary Care Center, Madison at Southwest Animal Hospital, and Dr. Valerie Henley at Fayetteville Animal Shelter for giving the participants tours of their facilities.

Jenny Barron, assistant manager at DTSOI Brissa Reyes Soria, assistant manager at Lakeside Beatriz De La Cruz, assistant manager at Hunt Elementary All three attended a week long training for Culinary Directions Part II in Conway. This training is provided by the Division of Elementary and Secondary Education, Child Nutrition Unit. They are on their way to becoming Certified Child Nutrition Managers.
