ATLAS testing begins tomorrow! Please review the information below for important dates and tips to help your student feel confident and ready to do their best.

🧠 What is ATLAS?
The Arkansas Teaching & Learning Assessment System (ATLAS) measures student performance based on Arkansas Academic Standards. It helps ensure students are meeting grade-level expectations.

📅 When is Testing?
Students will take 4 tests over 2 weeks
⏰ Testing begins shortly after 8:00 AM
⏳ Tests are untimed

Testing Schedule:
Thursday, April 30 – ✍️ Writing
Friday, May 1 – 📖 Reading
Thursday, May 7 – 🔬 Science
Friday, May 8 – ➗ Math

⭐ Tips for Success
✔️ Be present!
😴 Get at least 8 hours of sleep
👚 Wear comfortable clothes and layers
🍎 Eat a healthy breakfast
💪 Do your best—effort matters!

We want to encourage and reward students for demonstrating our EFFORT tenet. Each day of testing, students will receive a special raffle ticket for meeting all testing expectations.

Sonora Middle School in the Springdale Public School District plans to apply for the 21st Century Community Learning Grant for the 2026 - 2027 school year.
