Amy Schultz has been named as the Director of Nursing for Springdale Public Schools.
"I want to thank Dr. Cleveland, the School Board and the rest of the district leadership team for giving me this incredible opportunity. I am excited and looking forward to serving the nurses, students, staff and families of Springdale Schools in this new capacity."
Schultz adds, "her favorite quote is 'If it doesn't challenge you, it doesn't change you.' This is a new challenge that I am truly blessed to be a part of."
Schultz is replacing Kathy Launder. who is retiring. Schultz will begin her new role July 1.
Schultz has served as a school nurse at Bernice Young Elementary for the past 6 years preceded by time at both George Elementary and Monitor Elementary. Schultz has been a Registered Nurse for 19 years and has lived in Springdale for 22 years.
Dr. Jared Cleveland, district superintendent, said she will bring a significant positive impact across the Springdale School District.
